DIGITAL MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER

Job Overview:

The Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer will maintain and monitor all technical digital aspects to enhance the organization's online presence and engagement. Responsibilities include designing and monitoring content strategies for the website, email marketing, and social media; and utilising web analytics and social listening tools for performance optimization, and sentiment analysis. This role involves staying current with digital marketing trends, managing budgets, and developing and training on response and feedback management mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

●    Design and implement content strategies for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing.
●    Set up and manage a social listening and sentiment analysis tool.
●    Prepare strategies to build and nurture online communities across various platforms.
●    Ensure content is consistent with the PCRF brand's voice, style, and tone.
●    Plan and execute, in collaboration with the different PCRF departments, digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, e-newsletters social media, and online advertising campaigns.
●    Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
●    Use web analytics tools to monitor and evaluate social media and digital marketing performance.
●    Analyze data and generate insights to optimize content and campaigns.
●    Keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
●    Advise on, manage and monitor the budgets and spending for social media and digital marketing initiatives.
●    Ensure effective allocation and optimization of resources.
●    Develop and execute strategies to handle potential online crises and negative feedback effectively, and train staff and volunteers on best practices.
●    Develop, execute, and train staff and volunteers on social media strategies to capture content and increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
●    Create, curate, manage, and advise on published content (images, video, reels, stories, static posts, and written content) internally and with third party service providers.
●    Engaging with followers, responding to comments, and managing social media interactions.
●    Identify and collaborate with influencers, affiliates, and other brand advocates to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

●    Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
●    Five to nine years of professional experience in a similar role.
●    Experience working with NGOs or on social issues.
●    A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital media management.
●    Experience in crisis management and media relations is preferred.
●    A passion for communications and PCRF’s mission.

Skills:

●    Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
●    Exceptional skills in digital marketing analysis to effectively direct strategic initiatives.
●    Proficiency in audiovisual and written digital media content development tools.
●    Expertise in using social media platforms and managing ad campaigns.
●    Proficiency in website content management systems.
●    Proficiency in SEO management and data analysis.
●    Experience with e-newsletter development platforms.
●    Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in documents, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, multimedia, calendars, and email.

Base of position: Jordan/West Bank/International with flexibility to travel to different locations.
